I was a very good lifelong friend of Cpl. Michael (Mick) Phillips, from Jarrow, Tyne and Wear, whom served in the 2BRJ, and was killed in Sierra Leone on the 27th January 2002. I was wondering if anyone on this forum may have served with him at any point in his career or may know of him and has any stories to tell of his 3 times that he was in the army. I would be especially pleased if they have any photos they can share too. I am not a journalist or out like that, just the friend of a really good guy that was taken too soon from us all
